We had another wonderful meeting, this time focusing on Nutrition. We kicked off the meeting with some great food provided by Emily's Table - THANK YOU SO MUCH!! The buzz around the room was for Jessica's Mom's Monkey Bread Recipe. So as a special treat for those of you who actually are keeping up with this blog....here's the recipe!!
Monkey Bread
- cinnamon & sugar mixture
- ½ Cup (1 stick) margarine or butter
- 1 Cup brown sugar
- Grease a bundt or angel food pan.
- Separate biscuits and cut each one into fourths.
- Roll each piece in cinnamon & sugar mixture and evenly distribute the pieces in the pan.
- Heat the butter and brown sugar until the sugar dissolves.
- Pour butter and brown sugar mixture over the biscuit pieces in the pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then turn the bread out on a plate.
- Slice or pull the pieces apart for serving.
