Meeting on Oct 29th

Here are some photos from our meeting on Oct 29th.

Jennifer gave a wonderful devotional describing how we need to guard God in our hearts, and gave some great tips on exposing our kids to religion.





We played a fun get-to-know-you game, and actually had the opportunity to talk face-to-face with half of our group!

Our Speaker from the Airman and Family Readiness Center gave some great information on resources available to wives of deployed spouses, career and training opportunities, record-free counseling services, and more...

We enjoyed a wonderful Mom's Night Out eating desserts at Chili's.

So many moms showed up we had to be divided into two tables!! But we still had a great time.

In the Pantry - October 15th

For those of you who were unable to make it to the meeting today, here is the recipe for the apple crisp we made...

Apple Crisp

Ingredients
5 apples, cored, peeled and sliced

Topping
1/3 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup Quick Oats
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg


1. Place apples in 8x8 dish or pie pan
2. Cover with topping
3. Top with 1/3 cup cut-up butter or margarine
4. Back at 375 degrees fro 30 minutes or until top starts to brown and apples are tender
5. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream
